I began the year 2012 venturing to the beautiful New York City and did my best to experience the city with the mindset of a local but the curiosity of a tourist. The only thing I may regret is taking camera along with me to document all the wonderful things I saw; however, at the same time I am glad I experienced it without feeling like the paparazzi. I feel like the camera would have potentially distracted me.
Although something like traveling from the east coast to the west coast may be considered an adventure, I have to remember that there’s something new the world can offer me everyday whether it be a new food to eat, a new conversation to have, or a new song to sing.
The world is not only my playground but my classroom in which I have much to learn. I dedicate this year to learn more about the world and to learn about myself.
